A Memorandum of Agreement Signing and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony between the Provincial Government and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office X was held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, for the opening of the One-Stop Shop Operation Office.

The goal of this One-Stop Shop Operation Office is to speed up document processing, provide social services, and strengthen coordination among agencies, in order to avoid long waiting times and repetitive transactions.

In her message during the event, Governor Juliette Uy emphasized the importance of cooperation and unity in delivering genuine service to every Misamisnon.

She clarified that traveling from the Capitol to Uptown Cagayan de Oro City just to process papers has long been a major inconvenience. With this new office, the process will become easier. The office will also house DOH (Department of Health) and PCSO desks so that all assistance processing can be done in one location.

Governor Uy also expressed deep gratitude to everyone who attended and supported the realization of the project. She added that she will continue working—as a mother of the province—to bring a better future to all Misamisnons.

Those who witnessed the event together with Governor Juliette Uy included 2nd District Board Member Princess Emano, Board Member Bliss Francis Acain, several Mayors, the Misamis Oriental Department of Heads Association (MODHA), and others.

The activity was conducted in collaboration with the DSWD Field Office X, Department of Health, and the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, strengthening public service for the people.

The One-Stop Shop Office is located at the first floor of the Tourism Office situated at Vicente de Lara Park, Capitol Grounds. It is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This project represents the government’s genuine commitment to bringing services closer to the people and improving the quality of public care.
