THE 21st City Council welcomed the newest batch of Rotary Youth participants
during their regular Monday afternoon (Nov. 24) session.
The 23rd Rotary Youth City officials, who come from various schools in the city, were assigned to their respective councilor counterparts.
They will be rendering five days of observation and participation as part of their immersion in legislative work.
This program is organized by the Rotary Club in partnership with Cagayan de Oro City Hall to give exposure to young leaders to the inner workings of local governance.
Through this program, the youth officials observe council proceedings, understand official duties and serve as counterparts to the city councilors. CIO/PHOTO COURTESY OF CITY COUNCIL
