City Hall inspects Oro hotels for compliance regulations

The City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (CTCAO) successfully conducted its first monitoring and inspection for 2026 on several hotels and accommodation establishments in Barangays Bulua and Iponan on February 20.

This was carried out to ensure that tourism-related businesses comply with legal, documentary, and operational standards, as well as issuances from the Department of Tourism (DOT).

Atty. Spencer P. Palen, Chief of the Standards, Regulations and Trainings Division, personally led the inspection together with other personnel from the office.

Among those checked by the inspection team were valid business permits, DOT accreditation seals, occupancy permits, and other government-issued certifications. CIO
