CEBU CITY – Two men were apprehended by police on Tuesday night in Minglanilla town for allegedly possessing PHP3.4 million worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation. The suspects, identified as security guard Selfredo Silva, alias “Odo”, aged 48, and construction worker Elmer Bucog, aged 47, were apprehended in Purok Tugas, Barangay Ward 2.
Seized from them were five packs and seven sachets of suspected shabu inside a black bag, all weighing over a half kilo valued at PHP3,406,800.
Police are investigating to determine the source of the drugs seized from the suspects, who are now detained at the Minglanilla detention cell. (PNA)
