THE Opol Frolic Music Festival 2026 transformed the shores of Opol, Misamis Oriental into a vibrant hub of music, culture, and community from April 9 to 11, 2026.
Organized by the municipal governmemt led by Mayor Jayfrancis Bago and set against the scenic backdrop of Mar Villa Beach Resort, the three-day celebration drew thousands of attendees, blending the relaxed charm of a beach getaway with the energy of a full-scale music festival.

With waves crashing nearby and lights illuminating the night sky, the event delivered an atmosphere that felt both electrifying and deeply rooted in coastal life.
Regional pride was evident throughout the festival, with bands like Phylum Band, Tribu CDO, Oh Caraga, Herbal, Softkeys, Chasing Carousel and Nobela taking the stage and showcasing the rich musical talent of Northern Mindanao.

Their performances brought a strong local flavor, connecting deeply with the audience and highlighting the region’s creative identity. As the nights stretched on, DJs such as Gege Xiao and other emerging artists kept the momentum alive, turning the beachfront into a lively dance floor where festival-goers celebrated under the stars.
Beyond the music, the Opol Frolic Music Festival played a significant role in boosting local tourism and economic activity. Dozens of food stalls, small businesses and local vendors lined the venue, offering everything from regional delicacies to festival merchandise.

With its combination of music, scenery, and community spirit, it leaves a lasting impression and sets the stage for even bigger celebrations in the years to come. PHOTOS FROM WONDERFUL OPOL (AN LGU PAGE)
