OWNED by a pure Chinese-Filipino family, you can be assured that the dishes and drinks being whipped at Xi Shuanshuan are really authentic and imported.
Xi Shuanshuan offers the following soups: classic, tomato, mixed mushrooms and spicy.
Its signature hotpot dishes are the following: duck blood, squid balls, meat balls, fish balls, juicy beef balls, bottle beef balls, fish fortune balls, beef tendon balls, taro strips, mushroom dumplings, meat dumplings, abalone, lingling roll, fresh black fish, crab sticks, rice cake, fish egg balls, crispy meat, shrimp paste, black layered tripe, black tripe, beef tongue, silky chicken roll, fresh wet fish, pork kidney, baby squid, US bullfrog and and shrimp dumplings.
For meat arrays, they’ve got Angus, beef brain, beef breast, pork loin and mutton.
Xi Shuanshuan also have barbecued dishes such as duck gizzards, gluten, pork cartilage, lamb kidneys, squid head, kiss sausage, black pork sausage, Taiwan sausage, chicken wings, Spam, Korean rice cake and scallops.
Their fresh vegetable series consists of the following: tang oh, spinach, cilantro, lettuce Roman, tofu, golden mushrooms, mushrooms, chicken mushrooms, baby cabbage, chuy sum, tofu skin, potatoes and jelly vegetables.
Other items on the menu are noodles (thin, thick or Xiamen), rice siomai, milky egg buns, sesame tangyun, fresh pork buns, yuntun, rice and shawarma.
For beverages, they have buko juice in can, Soju, herbal tea, bottled milk tea, soda (regular and zero), water, San Miguel beer and shakes (mango, avocado, watermelon, banana).
Another signature that is not found elsewhere is the Chinese version of shaved ice which is mian mian and you’ve got the option to choose from three flavors: mango, coconut or sweet taro.
Xi Shuanshuan is located at the second level of First Touch Uptown Belt, Beacon Avenue, Pueblo Business Park, uptown Cagayan de Oro City. They are open from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.
