In a three-day operation in Negros Oriental, anti-drug operatives confiscated over PHP2.6 million worth of suspected shabu and apprehended 16 drug suspects.
Lt. Stephen Polinar, spokesperson and information officer of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office, said Monday the accomplishment is part of the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation of the police stations and other police units in the province.
The seized shabu weighed around 333.15 grams during the police operations from April 19 to 21.
The biggest haul was in Barangay Camanjac on Friday night, which yielded some PHP2 million in suspected shabu and resulted in the arrest of a high-value target. (PNA)
