FORMER Misamis Oriental second district Rep. Juliette Uy will face her 2022 opponent again in the gubernatorial race next year, the reelectionist Gov. Peter Unabia.
Uy has vowed to put up a clean campaign without the use of patronage money. She said she will focus on what she claimed as services “left behind” by the Unabia administration in particular the provision of basic supplies at the seven hospitals operated by the province.
For his part, Unabia is banking on his three-year performance as governor of the province, highlighting his administration’s flagship single digit poverty incidence ambition down to the barangay level.
