IN a sincere display of humility and inclusive leadership, Governor Peter “Sr. Pedro” M. Unabia attended interfaith dialogue with religious leaders this morning, organized by the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro.
The dialogue was led by Archbishop Jose Cabantan, Archbishop Emeritus Antonio Ledesma, and Archbishop Felixberto Calang of the IFI Diocese of Cagayan de Oro, together with representatives from the Muslim community.

Governer Peter Unabia personally extended his apologies and expressed his sincere desire to better understand the sentiments and concerns raised in response to his recent statement.
This open and respectful conversation reflects his commitment to unity, mutual respect, and continuous learning as a public servant, because the first act of leadership is to listen.

An official statement from Team Paglaum will be released following the outcomes of this dialogue. The interfaith dialogue was held at the Bishop’s Palace of the St. Augustine Cathedral, CDOC.
