FORMER Oro Chamber president Ray Talimio Jr. inspired high school students during the second day of Rotary Club of (Cagayan de Oro) East Urban’s expo.
In the career talks segment, Talimio said accountancy is one of the more promising paths that current basic education students might want to pursue.
Talimio spoke of experience, bringing with him decades of achievements as an accountant both here and in Manila.
In fact, he is currently a national officer of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
More than a hundred ninth to 12th graders attended the career talk, bringing together speakers sharing their real-world professional journeys and practical tips for building one’s future.
The Rotary Impact Expo 2025 is held October 27 to 29 at Ayala Activity Center in Cagayan de Oro City.
