Rotary CDO East Urban to hold showcase expo

TO raise awareness of its activities, the Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro East Urban led by president Stephanie Rosalind Caragos will hold the Rotary Impact Expo 2025 from October 27 to 29 at Ayala Malls Centrio, this city.


Caragos said that slated activities include a zumba for a cause, career talks for senior high students, high school trivial challenge and breast cancer screening.

The zumba for a cause is dubbed I Move I Dance to End Polio which has a registration fee of only P500, all proceeds of which is for the Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro East Urban’s efforts in polio eradication. Rotary has been working to eradicate polio for more than 35 years.

The career talks for senior high students features professionals and leaders fro diverse industries. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights, inspired by the speakers talking about practical tips for building one’s future, listen to real-world career journeys and discover how the students can align with their passion with purpose.

On the other hand, the Mind Brawl trivia game challenge is when wits collide. Test one’s knowledge, showcase your skills and get a chance to represent one’s school.

Aside from the breast cancer screening, the activity in the afternoon of October 29 will include free consultation, awareness talks, distribution of freebies to attendees and a quick learning session on ikebana.

Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro East Urban was founded in 1990. It now has 83 active members.
