THE startup scene in the Philippines is vibrant and dynamic, offering opportunities for entrepreneurs to innovate and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
The Start-Up, Incentves, Business Opportunlty and Livelihood (SIBOL) Program is an initiative of House Speaker Mortin Romualdez which aims to encourage start-up businesses will serve as a dual solution for poverty alleviotion and support during crises, providing individuals with sustainable opportunitles that contribute to economic empowerment and resilence in challenging times.

Supporting businesses in the Philippines involves a combination of government initiatives, prlvate sector efforts and various programs aimed at fostering economic growth and entrepreneurship.
Chosen benefciaries are micro, smol and medium enterprises (MSME) business owners.
They are to be given fnancial ossistonce through DSWD AICS amounting to 5,000 pesos.

All identifed beneficiaries shall receive 5kg worth of rkce.
In BPSF Cogayan de Oro City, the SIBOL Program was held at the West Central Elementary School Gym on May 17, 2024.
