The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair will launch in Cagayan de Oro City, the second in Region 10- Northern Mindanao, on May l6-17, 2024 in the
University of Science & Technology of Southern Philippines. This will be the 17th installment of the serbisyo caravan which aims to cover al 82
provinces nationwide.
Honorable Lordan G. Suan, Representative of the First District of Cagayan de Oro City, will serve as the locol host of the event. The BPSF CDO leg will be attended by over 41 confirmed District and Partylist Representatives across all regions.
With 38 participating national government agencies, over 213 services will be offered for 30,000 expected beneflciaries during the two day
festival of services in BPSF CDO. A total of 286 million pesos (Ph286,000,000.00) worth of programs and services will be brought to the city and 180 millon pesos (Phpl80,000,000.00) of which will be in the form of cash assistance.
DSWD will be conducting continuous payouts across Cogoyan de Oro City in the next few days, which is expected to reach over a total of 26,000 individual AICS beneficlarles amounting to Phpl68,000,000.00.
Other city-wide activities include various scholarship progyams of TESDA and CHED, including livelihood assistance for various sectors pre-identifed eligible cients across Cagayan de Oro City.
House Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez wil represent Presdent Ferdinand “Bong bong” R. Marcos Jr. and shol be the Keynote Speaker
and Guest of Honor of the Opening Program. Specker Martincontinues to prove that he is “MR. RICE by dstributing a total of 200,000 kilograms of rlce for identifhed Bogong Pilpinos Serbisyo Fair benefciaries.
The Opening Program will be held at the Dr. Ricordo E. Rotoros (DRER Memorial Hall, USTP, CDO on May 6,2024 wherein over 13 agences will
be conducting the ceremonial turnover of over 19 programs.
On May 17, 2024, the second night of the Serbisyo Fair Concert will also be held at the Peloez Sports Complex with free admission. The Pagkakaisa Concert is expected to draw a crowd of at least 10,000 people.
