The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Service Office X continues to advocate for the use of PhilSys Authentication Services to ensure more secure, reliable, and fraud-resistant transactions through two key platforms: National ID eVerify and National ID Check.
These innovative services, launched in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), support the country’s digital transformation goals by enabling agencies and institutions to verify identities with confidence. Both platforms offer dependable solutions to improve security and streamline the onboarding processes of relying parties, particularly government agencies, financial institutions, private entities, and educational institutions.
National ID eVerify: Advanced Identity Authentication
The National ID eVerify platform offers robust identity verification to minimize the risk of fraud. It allows government agencies and private establishments to confirm the authenticity of an individual’s National ID using advanced facial recognition/fingerprint scanner technology. This real-time verification process cross-checks the individual’s facial/fingerprints features and other registered data with the National ID registry, ensuring secure and efficient transactions.
Check provides a quick and accessible way to verify any format of the National ID — including the Digital National ID — by simply scanning the QR code printed on the ID. This verification method is available via https://everify.gov.ph/check and offers a user-friendly solution to confirm ID authenticity in seconds.
