The Philippine National Police (PNP) has dealt a significant blow to smuggling syndicates in Zamboanga City, confiscating over P20 million worth of illicit cigarettes in a recent operation. The seizure is a testament to the PNP’s unwavering commitment to enforcing the law and protecting the public from the harmful effects of contraband goods.
The successful operation was the result of a joint effort between the PNP’s City Intelligence Unit and the Regional Special Operations Group. The team’s diligence and coordination led to the interception of 355 master cases of smuggled Black Hawk and San Marino cigarettes.
