THE Social Security System led by vice president for Mindanao north Benigno Dagani Jr. and the Phividec Industrial Authority led by administrator Joseph Donato Bernedo inked an agreement to ensure the social security protection of all its job order workers and contract of service personnel who are not covered under GSIS Law.
Job order and contract workers who are not covered by the GSIS can now be provided social
security protection in times of sickness, maternity, disability, unemployment, death and old-age as self-employed members under the SSS KaSSSanga-Collect Program of the SSS.

Under the signed MOA, the Phividec Industrial Authority shall be responsible in the remittance of their monthly contributions through automatic salary deduction scheme, thereby ensuring their eligibility to SSS benefits and loan privileges.
SSS’ main benefit – the monthly pension – provides a safety net for the covered SSS
member which is a crucial component to the government’s poverty alleviation goals.
In the same day, Phividec Industrial Authority also inked an agreement with the Land Bank of the Philippines.
The two entities formalized their partnership through a memorandum of agreement (MOA) for the implementation of the government purchase card, specificallv for official travel-related expenses.
This initiative supports the national thrust toward digital financial solutions in government
operations.
The card is a secure, LandBank-issued payment card that enables authorized Phividec Industrial Authority personnel to cover official travel expenses such as transportation, accommodation and registration fees without relying on cash advances or reimbursements.
It ensures faster transactions, better tracking and unproved accountability.
Key benefits are treamlined disbursement for travel-related costs, enhanced transparency and auditability, reduced administrative burden and processing time and compliance with government financial management standards.
