Key Initiatives:
– *Land Titling and Distribution*: On July 10, 2025, the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) distributed Emancipation Patents (EPs), Certificates of Land Ownership Awards (CLOAs), Electronic Titles (E-Titles), and Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage (CoCROMs) to over 5,101 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) in Northern Mindanao, including those from Misamis Oriental. This initiative aims to provide land tenure security and support rural communities.
Agricultural Development*: Governor Uy met with officials from the Department of Agriculture (DA-10) and the South Korean Embassy to discuss potential agricultural development projects, including infrastructure development, skills training, and supply inputs for farmers. Proposed projects include building processing centers, cold chain facilities, grain centers, and smart greenhouses.
Farm Support
The DA-10 has been distributing agricultural interventions, such as hybrid yellow corn seeds, complete fertilizer, bamboo seedlings, and vegetable seeds, to local government units and registered farmers’ associations in Misamis Oriental. These initiatives aim to boost crop production, improve farmers’ livelihoods, and enhance food security
