CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City – Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) concluded the 30th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month with a Culmination Ceremony held on July 31, 2025, at the RHQ Covered Court, Camp 1Lt Vicente G. Alagar, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City.
The activity, with the theme “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Ang Gusto ng Pulis, Ligtas Ka!”, was graced by Hon. Juliette T. Uy, Governor of Misamis Oriental, who served as the guest of honor and speaker.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of awards to distinguished PNP units, personnel, and stakeholder who have made exemplary contributions to community engagement and public safety efforts.
Among the awardees were:
- Lanao del Norte Police Provincial Office – Outstanding PCAD Police Provincial Office (PPO)
- Gingoog City Police Station – Outstanding PCAD City Police Station (CPS)
- PCOL JOVITO L CULAWAY (Bukidnon PPO) – Outstanding PCAD Senior PCO
- PLTCOL ARIEL PHILIP I PONTILLAS (Gingoog CPS, MisOr PPO) – Outstanding PCAD Junior PCO
Special awards were also given to: - RPSB Team Cluster 5, Misamis Oriental PPO – Outstanding R-PSB Team
- Official Facebook Page of Sapang Dalaga MPS, Misamis Occidental PPO – Outstanding Social Networking Sites Team
- Order of Amaranth Iligan Court No.21, Iligan City – Outstanding Stakeholder
In her message, Governor Uy expressed heartfelt gratitude to the men and women of PRO10, underscoring the essential role of police officers as frontliners of justice and peace.
“I stand in full support of the programs and initiatives of PRO10. I believe that peace is not merely the absence of conflict; it is the presence of justice, fairness, and shared responsibility. And when our communities feel safe, they begin to dream again. They began to build. They begin to thrive,” she said. ###
