Cagayan de Oro City – Newly appointed Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Region 10 Director Alexes Joseph “Aljo” Bendijo recently visited the NEMINTSCO office, marking a significant step in strengthening partnerships between LTFRB and local transport stakeholders. NEMINTSCO, led by Chairman Sinawe Mamao, as one of the key partner transport cooperative of LTFRB in Northern Mindanao.
This visit aimed to foster collaboration and discuss initiatives to improve public transportation services in the region. Director Bendijo’s appointment follows a recent turnover ceremony, where he succeeded Abosamen H. Matuan as Regional Director. He’s emphasized responsive governance, effective oversight, and improved services for commuters.
The LTFRB Region X office, located in Apovel, Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City, is committed to delivering safe, reliable, and modern public transportation services. Director Bendijo’s visit to NEMINTSCO reflects the agency’s dedication to working with local partners like NEMINTSCO to achieve this goal.
The LTFRB’s efforts align with the Bagong Pilipinas vision, aiming to modernize the country’s transportation infrastructure and systems. With almost 2,000 modern vehicles consolidated in Cagayan de Oro City under the PUV modernization program, the agency is pushing for further improvements.
