City Hospital-Lumbia celebrated its fourth Founding Anniversary on Friday, September 4, under the theme “Greater at Four: A Journey of Compassionate Care for Every Generation.”
For four years, Chief of Hospital Dr. Ferdinand Miranda, together with the entire hospital staff, has worked to provide quality and compassionate healthcare services to the people of Cagayan de Oro.
According to Dr. Miranda, the hospital’s progress is the result of the efforts and contributions of every member of the institution.
He expressed hope that the hospital would continue to provide hope, particularly to residents in hinterland communities, by extending medical attention and services to those in need.
As part of the celebration, the hospital also held its Hospital Annual Report, highlighting the accomplishments of City Hospital-Lumbia during its four years of service.
Guided by the hospital’s mission, “To bring healthcare closer to every Kagay-anon,” the institution continues to work toward improving and strengthening its services to ensure accessible and quality healthcare for everyone.
Meanwhile, as part of its annual initiative to bring cheer to patients, the hospital also distributed five kilograms of rice to patients, donated by City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy.
Also in attendance at the event was Chief of Staff Shiela Lumbatan, representing Mayor Klarex Uy, along with CDRRMD Department Head Nick Jabagat, Acting Chief of Hospital of City Hospital-Tablon Dr. Geneen Macadaig, and Chief of Hospital of JR Borja General Hospital Dr. Michael June Perez.
The celebration began with a motorcade, followed later that evening by a Fellowship Night for hospital employees. CIO
