INITAO, Misams Oriental – Mayor Mercy Grace “Gagay” Acain led the ground breaking of the brandnew municipal hall the other day (March 6), a modern architectural design which will eventually become a showcase to all leaders of the province to do the same.
Earlier last month, a behive-inspired townhall was also opened to the public in Talisayan town, which also inspired political leaders and visionaries to emulate, as it also attracted politicians, governemnt officials and vloggers.
Aside from the formal blessing and inauguration ceremonies, it also signaled the construction phase of additional contract which is the full lanscaping of commerical complex and the surroundings and premises of the townhall.
Mayor Acain, during her speech thanked all the benefactors and project collaborators which made it an outstanding success. The townhall, the mayor said, will not only attract more visitors but it will also help invite more entrepreneurs to invest in their town in terms of businesses and other forms of investments.
The mayor also thanked James Arkitektura and Construction Services for their expertise in the field of architecture, to come with an amazing design of the townhall, which will now help tourism and attract businessmen.
The development comes as a seamless continuation of its iconic Municipal Hall, which has now become a showcase and tourist attraction.
