Misamis Oriental – In a significant development, Governor Peter M. Unabia and 1st District Congressman Christian Unabia recently convened with the country’s senators to discuss plans for infrastructure projects across various municipalities in Misamis Oriental.
Present at the meeting were prominent senators of the country, including Senator JV Ejercito, Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr., Senator Risa Hontiveros, Senator Imee R. Marcos, Senator Francis Tolentino, Senator Bong Go, Senator Jinggoy Estrada, Senator Manuel “Lito” Lapid, Senator Koko Pimentel, Senator Win Gatchalian, and Senator Mark Villar.
Governor Unabia’s primary aim is to secure additional funding for more infrastructure projects and programs, expressing his appeal for increased budget for Social Services Delivery all throughout the province.
This initiative aligns with Governor Unabia’s “Paglaum Development Agenda,” emphasizing “Participatory Governance.” It underscores his unwavering commitment to collaborate with various government and societal sectors to uplift the welfare of the province and its people.
