GET-Go!, the first motorcycle ride hailing app based in Cagayan de Oro is now deployed live.
Get-Go! chief executive officer Joe Mari Deloso led the launch of the app December 5 at their offices along Mabolo-Rosal street in barangay Carmen where 300 drivers have already been waiting ready to receive bookings.
Councilor Yevonna Yacine Emano was guest of honor at the event and she lauded the concept of Get-Go! as a homegrown player in the ride hailing industry.
Deloso said one unique feature of their app is the presence of an SOS button where both passenger or driver could easily press if they are in danger. He added that the SOS button will soon connect to the 911 system of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
For now, the coverage of Get-Go! is only here in Cagayan de Oro City but the app (downloadable in Google Play) is available 24 hours.
“Safety is the core of Get-Go! Riders must wear helmets and comply with road safety regulations,” Deloso said.
