CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Former Secretary of the Department of National Defense said Wednesday that China wants to be known as another superpower nation of the world.
Former DND Secretary Norberto Gonzales said in a press conference that one of the ultimate goals of China is that they wanted to bully other nations especially in territorial disputes.
One of the bullying victims of China, Gonzales said, is the Philippines so that there is ongoing tension at the West Philippine Sea.
“Dapat ding isipin natin na ang ongoing issue diyan sa West Philippine Sea hindi lang yan territorial problem kundi domestic concern din ng China,” Gonzales pointed out.

One also of the reasons that China is bullying the Philippines in the West Philippines disputes, was because China knew that the Philippines is under the control of the United States.
“Alam kasi ng China na tuta tayo ng Amerkano kaya ganun nalang ang galit ng China sa Pilipinas,” the former DND secretary said.
