The Lopez-led ABS-CBN Corporation has appointed Ma. Rosario “Charo” Santos-Concio as a director, filling the board vacancy left by the passing of Atty. Augusto Almeda-Lopez.
Santos-Concio, who served as ABS-CBN’s president and CEO from 2013 to 2015, was the company’s chief operating officer starting in 2008. She has also held positions as Chief Content Officer, president of ABS-CBN University, and executive advisor, and previously led Channel 2 Mega Manila Management.
Additionally, she is well-known for hosting ABS-CBN Channel 2’s longest-running drama anthology, Maalaala Mo Kaya.
A cum laude graduate of St. Paul’s College in Manila with a degree in Communications Arts, Santos-Concio completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2007. (bilyonaryo.ph)
