CAGAYAN de Oro City Hall commemorates on Tuesday, Dec. 30, the 129th anniversary of the martyrdom of the Philippine National Hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal with a simple wreath laying ceremony and program in Kiosko Kagawasan, Divisoria.
This year’s commemoration bears the theme, “RIZAL: Sa Pagbangon ng mga Mamamayan, Aral at Diwa Mo ang Tunay na Gabay.”
The program kicked off with a flag raising ceremony led by the military’s 4th Infantry
Representing Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy for the solemn executive wreath laying ceremony is City Council Majority Floor Leader Atty. Edgar S. Cabanlas.
Among those in attendance were employees and officials of national government agencies, private/business sectors/ civil organizations, people’s organizations, City Hall Departments/Offices and barangays.
