67 affected workers in LDN to receive CAMP3 assistance 

ILIGAN CITY (PIA)–A total of 67 affected workers in Lanao del Norte (LDN) province are set to receive assistance through the COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP 3) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

As of Feb. 4, a total of 17 establishments with 193 workers affected by the declaration of Alert Level 3 from January 2022 due to the threats of the COVID-19 have applied to the program. The 67 affected employees with approved applications are from eight establishments. 

DOLE LDN Senior Labor and Employment Officer Roselito Raymundo Rosales shared during the Talakayan sa PIA that their accounting department is already processing the remitting of cash aid through its payment centers. 

“Ginatrabaho na sa among accounting department. Ginawork-out na ang pag remit sa payment centers kaning eight establishments involving 67 ka empleyado,” he said. 

[Our accounting department is already processing it. Remittances to payment centers are already being worked out for the eight establishments involving 67 employees.]

Rosales also said their office continues to communicate with four individual applicants with denied applications and DOLE employees are guiding them on how to correct their applications.

DOLE is still accepting applications for CAMP 3. Qualified businesses must have notified the permanent/temporary closure to the DOLE’’s Establishment Reporting System (ERS) at https://reports.dole.gov.ph and submitted the most recent payroll or other documentation for November or December 2021 to the same online portal.

Meanwhile, individual workers should upload a clear photo of themselves with a valid government-issued ID and duly notarized proof of unemployment (Certificate of Employment/Notice of Termination/Notarized Affidavit of Termination of Employment or Notice of Temporary Layoff) to the above-mentioned official website. 

CAMP 3 is a safety net program that provides affected private-sector workers with one-time cash assistance of P5,000 as a COVID-19 pandemic mitigation strategy. (LELA/ PIA Lanao del Norte)
