ILIGAN CITY (PIA)–The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Lanao del Norte (LDN) provincial office reaffirmed its commitment to aid affected workers amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
In an episode of Talakayan sa PIA, DOLE-LDN provincial head Safrali S. Cabili said their office will continue to support the affected workers due to permanent or temporary closures of establishments.
“Gapaningkamot mi na makatabang mi sa inyoha sa program sa DOLE. Amo jud ginapaningkamotan na tanan makabenepisyo sa among programa sa DOLE,” he said.
[We are trying our best to help you with DOLE programs. We are trying to make everyone benefit from our programs.]
The provincial head also emphasized that DOLE will not stop providing support to the affected employees and will protect them through their programs.
“Sa karong pandemya dili mi gaundang, dili mi mustop na mangita ug paagi nga makatabang mi sa inyo. Ang DOLE naa ra jud diri para muprotekta sa inyoha ug muhatag og tabang,” he added.

As Iligan City and Lanao del Norte have been placed under Alert Level 3, establishments have been given limits on how they can distribute their products and services to the public, affecting their operations and personnel.
With this, DOLE will give P5,000 financial assistance to affected workers due to permanent or temporary closure of establishments through its Covid-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) 3. (LELA/ PIA Lanao del Norte)
