THE Inter-Ateneo Football (IAF) tournament 2026 kicks off this Saturday, Feb. 28 with five teams seeing action at the Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan Basic Education Campus located along Masterson’s Avenue, Uptown Cagayan de Oro.
With the theme ‘Magkakampi tayo, hindi magkalaban,’ Cagayan de Oro City is hosting the 2nd round of their league for this IAF.
The tournament officially opened with a short program welcoming the guests and players to the venue while the players took the oath of sportsmanship.
Five teams fighting for the title were from Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan (XU), Ateneo de Naga University (ADNU), Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU), Ateneo de Zamboanga University (ADZU), and Ateneo de Davao University (ADDU).
The tournament features players aged 40-above and 50-above categories, fostering camaraderie and strengthening bonds among alumni through sports.
