IT is the first ever closed door and airconditioned-ready gymnasium that Cagayan de Oro City first district Rep. Lordan Suan appropriated from his congressional fund.
The P10-million multipurpose building near the beach, where local fishermen haul in their fresh catch every day and just a stone’s throw away from the barangay hall, was inaugurated January 25 and turned over to the barangay council.

The edifice is already fully furnished with rubberized slabs and painting, two basketball rims, an industrial ceiling fan and features bleacher-type seating on both sides facing the stage.
Designed as a full enclosure, the facility can be installed with an airconditioning system anytime unlike other covered courts elsewhere.

Suan has more infrastructure projects ongoing construction in barangay Bonbon that will be turned over in the coming weeks.
This is part of Suan’s aim to balance his legislative duties and the concerns of his congressional district.
Suan is running for reelection this year.
