REELECTED Cagayan de Oro City first district Rep. Lordan Suan decided to take oath June 23 in barangay Besigan.
Rising 729 meters above sea level, Besigan is the farthest barangay in the city 26 kilometers away from its most populous area Carmen yet thrice the size.
Populated by only 0.23 percent of the people in Cagayan de Oro City, Suan still didn’t hesitate to hold his second congressional induction there.
Suan said the event is symbolic because it means his services would trickle down even the most remotest barangays in the first district.
The congressman took his oath before barangay chairman Samuel Minister.
He begins his second term July 1.
