I extend my warmest congratulations to the Rotary Club of Opol on its 11th Induction and Changeover Ceremonies.
New President Bert Acut takes the helm after a remarkable year of service of outgoing President Edgar Olaco.
It was a historic night, in more ways than one, as RC Opol allowed for the first time their qualified Lady Spouses to become Members of the Club.
Pursuant to this new policy, the previously all-male Club inducted 14 new Rotarians to their fold, increasing their numbers by more than 50%, including Keynote Speaker Rtn. Judge Jerlie Luis Requerme.
Backed by a strong new membership (their beloved Spouses ), this 11-year old Club, mentored by Charter President Max Seno & PDG Tes Navales, among others, is set to soar high amongst the most active and visible of the District for years to come!
