Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano formally assumed his post as the new acting regional director of Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) in a turnover of office ceremony held at Camp 1Lt
Vicente G Alagar, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City on October 8, 2025.
The ceremony marked the official transition of leadership from outgoing regional director, Brig. Gen. Rolindo Suguilon who is reassigned to the Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit, Directorate for Personnel and Records
Management.
The event was presided over by Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., acting chief of the Philippine National Police.
Highlights of the program included the
reading of termination and designation order, turnover of the command symbol
property and equipment inventory book and presentation of plaques.
In his message, Suguilon thanked the entire PRO10 personnel for their dedication, loyalty and cooperation throughout his leadership.
Meanwhile, Abrahano conveyed his deep appreciation for the trust and confidence bestowed upon him, vowing to continue the PNP’s mission of ensuring peace and order, strengthening community partnerships and intensifying the fight against all forms of criminality in Northern Mindanao.
Prior to his reassignment, Abrahano served as the officer-in-charge of the Area Police Command – Visayas and acting director of the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG). He is a proud member of the Philippine National Police
Acadeny (PNPA) Class of 1996.
The reassignment of officers is a a regular process in the PNP organization, ensuring
the continued development of leadership competencies, career progression and the
effective delivery of public safety services across the country.
