Misamis Oriental Governor Juliette Uy recently welcomed high-ranking officials from the Department of Health (DOH) to the provincial capitol for a courtesy visit. The meeting centered on the DOH’s request for a dedicated space to establish a Provincial Department of Health Office (PDoHO) within the capitol.

The proposed PDoHO would significantly bolster the DOH’s efforts to implement health programs in Misamis Oriental. With a dedicated office, the DOH would be better equipped to address the healthcare needs of the community and improve overall health services.
