CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Misamis Oriental Governor Juliette Uy has hailed the partnership between the province and Bukidnon as a significant development in the agricultural sector.

The partnership aims to establish a Bukidnon Food Hub, led by the Department of Agriculture, to benefit farmers and consumers alike.
Governor Uy signed a Memorandum of Agreement with DA Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. and Bukidnon Governor Rogelio Neil Roque to ensure the smooth implementation of the project.

The project is expected to boost the economy of Misamis Oriental by facilitating the movement of products between Bukidnon and the province.
Governor Uy expressed her gratitude to Secretary Laurel for considering Misamis Oriental as a potential site for a similar project, to be located at the Misamis Oriental Provincial Agriculture Development Center (MOPADC) in Claveria.

She also thanked Bukidnon Governor Oniel Roque, Vice Governor Clive Quiño, Mayor Rogelio Quiño, and DA Secretary Francisco Laurel Jr. for their support.
Governor Uy urged the people of Misamis Oriental to support the province’s programs, emphasizing her commitment to uplifting the province.

The partnership is seen as a key driver of economic growth and development in the region.
The establishment of the Bukidnon Food Hub is expected to create new opportunities for farmers and businesses in the province.
