This year’s theme, “Trump, Tariffs, and the Terminal Rate: The New Global Order,” provided attendees an in-depth view of both the local and international macroeconomic conditions and outlook.

Cedric Chehab, Chief Economist of BMI, offered a global and US macroeconomic outlook for the remainder of the year and into 2026. Meanwhile, Zerlina Zeng, CreditSights Head of Asia Strategy, talked about the implications of current economic conditions on investment strategies, with a focus on global and Asian markets.
Complementing these were insights of Metrobank Chief Economist and Markets Strategist Nicholas Mapa on the local front. He gave insights on the domestic economy and financial markets amid changing trade dynamics and interest rate environment.
