THE Camiguin Day Civic Parade 2026, held on January 7, led the gathering of local government units (LGUs), schools, national line agencies, private establishments, and civic groups as a symbol of unity in the province.
After the parade, 58 barangays took part in Lechonanza 2026 at the Ugmad Site, Cong. PPR Tourism and Sports Complex, showcasing Camiguin’s famous lechon.
These activities promoted the culture, tourism, and pride of the Camiguingnons.
This, as Camiguin Gov. Xavier Jesus Romualdo reported that tourist arrivals in the province increased by nearly 37.86 percent in 2025.
Romualdo reported that tourist arrivals grew from 288,558 in 2024 to 397,818 in 2025.
Of the total, 376,322 were domestic tourists while 21,496 were foreign visitors.
According to compiled data, domestic tourist arrivals rose by 39.3 percent while foreign arrivals increased by 15.7 percent. PIA/PNA/CAMIGUIN TOURISM OFFICE
