“Kalayaan CDO Shines Bright: Rotary’s ‘End Polio Goes Broadway’ a Huge Success”

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The Rotary Club of Kalayaan CDO’s recent “End Polio Goes Broadway” event was a spectacular success, bringing together Rotary leaders, members, and guests to support the global effort to eradicate polio.

The event, held at the Capitol University, Corrales Avenue, featured a star-studded lineup of performers, including PP Alvin Quinon, Katrina Mordeno, PP Lennie Medalla, Kai Medalla, and PP Richard Opada, who entertained the audience with Broadway-style performances.

District Governor Marlowe Selecious and Past District Governor Gigi Go joined the celebration, reaffirming their commitment to the cause. “This is our finale. Until the last child is safe, the curtain must not fall. Our Mission continues. Our Story is not yet done,” DG Marlowe Selecious said.

Cagayan de Oro City Councilor Gigi Go, also a Past District Governor, expressed her support for the event, highlighting the importance of collective efforts in making a difference in the world.

The event was a testament to the Rotary Club of Kalayaan CDO’s dedication to the polio eradication efforts in the region. The proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Rotary’s global polio eradication efforts.
