THE City Education and Development Office (CEDO) held the Paddle Up Government–Industry–Academe Dialogue on Thursday, November 20, at the Country Village Hotel in the city.
During the dialogue, representatives from various national government agencies and local business leaders, including Engr. Elpidio M. Paras, discussed their programs and the steps that should be taken when seeking employment in their establishments.
The academe also presented their expertise in research that can help innovate within the government and business sectors.
It was noted that the dialogue was attended by city scholars, employees from the business industry, academe, national government agencies, and various offices from the city hall.
This activity is part of the celebration of City Education Innovation Week, which aims to strengthen partnerships between the government, industry, and academe in implementing programs and policies that enhance the skills of employees in both the business industry and government agencies. It also seeks to prepare city scholars to face the workforce and inform them about the programs offered by the government, business, and academe sectors.
