Governor Juliette T. Uy recently inspected the Misamis Oriental Provincial Agriculture Development Complex (MOPADC) in Barangay Ani-e, Claveria, alongside Provincial Agriculture Officer Engr. Evy Elago.
Gov. Uy expressed concern over the facility’s deteriorated condition and directed the assessment of rehabilitation measures to restore its full potential.
She stressed that strengthening agricultural infrastructure is key to sustaining livelihoods and economic growth in Misamis Oriental.
The inspection was conducted at the sideline of the turnover of farm inputs near the vicinity.
Earlier, the Department of Agriculture–Regional Field Office 10 (DA-RFO 10) and the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental formally turned over two farm tractors and various agricultural inputs to farmers’ associations in Claveria on October 16, 2025.
Beneficiaries included the Linandang Malagana and Gumaod Coconut Farmers Associations, which expressed gratitude for the equipment worth ₱2.9 million each.
