CAMIGUIN (PIA)–Targeting to support livelihood and provide easier access to local farmers and residents of Barangay Bura, Catarman, here, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-10 implemented a road concreting project in the said barangay with a total length of 304.50 linear meters.
The project, which amounts to P5 million, aims to create a positive impact to the surrounding community as it lessens the farmers’ burden in transporting their products with more savings as well as increased earnings.
The construction of the said local road, which started, September 18, 2021 and completed, November 25, 2021, is part of the government’s effort to increase access of local communities towards their means of livelihood through a safe and convenient road network.
Obtained from the General Appropriations Act (GAA) Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 Various Infrastructure Including Local Projects, the total contract amount of the road construction project is P5,130,015.82 and is already 100% completed. (DPWH-10/PIA-10)
