DEL Monte Philippines, a leading agribusiness corporation in the Philippines, has planned to undertake a large-scale temporary farming for papaya and pineapple production.
It has expressed interest in locating at Phividec Industrial Estate in Misamis Oriental.
The farm presents a significant business opportunity to generate revenue, create

The proposed temporary faming area is composed of 226.4 hectares, more or less, that is in accordance with the temporary farming policy of Phividec Industrial Authority.
The papaya production is 107.1 hectares while the Pineapple Production is 119.3 hectares.
The lots shall be utilized exclusively for cultivation, harvesting and marketing of papaya and pineapple crops in accordance with their submitted agricultural plan to Phividec Industrial Authority.
Del Monte has already registered as a Phividec Industrial Authority locator to be able to do business inside the estate.
