PARTNERS from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Region 10 and Central Office, Fisheries and Coastal Resiliency Team (FishCoRe) Team, Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) and Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) and some city hall offices conducted an evaluation of the city government’s proposed City Fish Terminal Complex on April 13, 2026.
The evaluation team paid a courtesy call at the APOO, followed by a site visit to the proposed area at Zone 1 Punta, Bonbon, Cagayan de Oro City, and a post evaluation discussion.
The proposed City Fish Terminal Complex is one of the city’s identified projects this year, with an area of 2.9 hectares, consisting of fish landing, ice plant, fish processing, and administrative building.
