THE Commission on Filipinos Overseas brings their services closer to the people living in Northern Mindanao and its neighboring regions with the opening of its extension office in Cagayan de Oro City on August 8.
CFO Secretary Dante Francis Ang II together with Cagayan de Oro City 2nd District Representative Rufus Rodriguez, Vice Mayor Jocelyn Rodriguez, and City Administrator Roy Raagas attended the office inauguration yesterday.
In his speech during the inauguration of the Commission on Filipino Overseas CDO Extension Office, CFO Secretary Dante Francis Ang II said the establishment of the extension office is in response to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s order to bring faster and more efficient services closer to the people.
Cagayan de Oro City 2nd District Representative Rufus Rodriguez has commended the Commission on Filipinos Overseas for establishing its extension office in Cagayan de Oro City, noting that it will greatly help not just the people of Cagayan de Oro City and Northern Mindanao but its neighboring regions as well. He also vowed to support the CFO and Filipinos overseas by crafting more house bills that aim to help them get more support and benefits. (JAKA/PIA10)
