FORMER Cagayan de Oro City first district Rep. Jose Benjamin “Benjo” Benaldo, now the first nominee of Ako PaDayon partylist, graces the AKAP payout October 30 in Tablon, Cagayan de Oro City as facilitated by Misamis Oriental second district Rep. Yevgeny Vincente Emano.
As a congressman for Cagayan de Oro’s first district from 2010 to 2013, Benjo Benaldo’s tenure included efforts in legislative activities focused on governance. He emphasized infrastructure development and participated in community-based projects.
Additionally, he supported youth and educational initiatives within the city – projects that he could surely bring to Congress on an even bigger scale since the partylist setup has a national constituency.
Benjo is a seasoned public servant. His last position was as a member of the board of the Manila Economic Cultural Affairs Office.
