MANILA — Deeply concerned about the present plight of the country’s domestic security sector, the Alliance of Certified Enforcers (ACE) Party List has unfolded its mandate on Accountability, Commitment and Empowerment for the thousands of security guards, barangay tanods, fire brigades and other related security workers nationwide.
ACE Party-List Ist nominee Officer Erwin Culanag, a US- trained law enforcer has rolled up his sleeves to serve as the voice of the security officers , jail guards and barangay tanods in the 20th Congress next year.
ACE will also work for the enactment of laws on multiple retirement system and the rationalization of policies in the management of our country’s jails and penitentiaries.
It will also work for the establishment of cooperatives and put in place insurance coverages to the security sector.
ACE Party-List Founding Chairman and 1st nominee Erwin Culanag plans to put up credit cooperatives on a nation-wide scale for security guards, tanods, fire and safety officers to ease their financial burden brought about by low wages and meager benefits and get rid of loan sharks, those moneylenders
who charge extremely high rates of interest, typically under illegal conditions.
As the voice of law enforcers in Congress, ACE Party-List will work in safeguarding the rights and privileges of security guards, tanods and AFP/PNP retirees.
•ACE is a staunch advocate of PBBM’s Bagong Pilipinas Program and First Lady Liza Marcos’ “LAB for ALL” outreach services.
•ACE has received awards and recognition in the 4th Mindanao Leadership Excellence Award recognizing sterling leaders in the field of Law Enforcement.
•ACE received the prestigious Gawad Pilipino “Atin Ito” Award 2024.
•ACE also received Certificate of Recognition from the Army’ s Task Force Oro, 4th Infantry Division, Philippine Army.
ACE Erwin Culanag is a recipient of a doctoral degree, honoris causa from MDN and Gawad Pilipino Ambassador for Peace and Humanitarian efforts.
