BUTIG, Lanao del Sur – A top official of Butig municipality in this province aaid Pansar’s legacy is the sustainability of peace and the start of visionary leadership of the incumbent mayor.
Abdul B Pansar, municipal administrator and brother of the mayor said that it is different now than in the past administration. Wherever you will go now you are not afraid because we are a very peaceful town now,” the administrator said.
Pansar said his brother believes that sustaining peace is the real road to achieve developments in the whole town of Butig. “Right now that we were able to sustain peace, progress started to happen in the municipality.”
ROAD NETWORKS
One of the biggest projects now are road networks connecting Butig to other places in Lanao del Sur, with the help of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) leadership.
“Ang pinakamalaking proyekto ngayon ay mga kalsada na nagko-connect ng Butig to any point in Lanao del Sur and other areas. This will really help our farmers have wide saleability of their products,” Pansar said.
TOURISM
He also said that tourism is also being developed now in Butig, considering the presence of the town’s
natural wonders, including tourist attractions and other tourist destinations.
“Isa rin sa pinag tuunan ng pansin ngayon ni Mayor Pansar ay ang turismo. Malaki ang potential ng Butig na magiging tourist destination ng buong probinsya,” the city administrator added.
