THE Province of Misamis Oriental welcomed officials from Fire Insurers Laboratories of Korea including Kim Sungyoon, Lee Gil Yong, Lee Hyung Won and Lee Ju Yoon, as part of efforts to strengthen eco-friendly and safety-driven initiatives in the province, with local officials underscoring that collaboration with international research institutions will pave the way for knowledge exchange, technological advancement and sustainable development aligned with the province’s growing commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation.
Established in 1986 by Korean Fire Protection Association, the Fire Insurers Laboratories of Korea is a leading fire specialized institution with 400 kinds of state-of-the-art testing equipment and with more than 25 years of fire testing and research experiences.
The Fire Insurers Laboratories of Korea offers following main services for a fire-free society in South Korea: testing and research services to high fire codes and standards, FILK quality certification service, loss prevention consultancy and fire protection training service.
