THE provincial government spearheaded the Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat, September 13, in honor of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr’s birthday.
Joining the event are national government agencies: DOH, DSWD, DAR, NHA, DTI, DA, DepEd, CHED, NCSC, DENR, PhilHealth, TESDA, and DILG.
These agencies provided services and assistance through their various programs being implemented to beneficiaries from Misamis Oriental and Cagayan de Oro City.
Governor Juliette T Uy, in her message, ensured that government services and assistance must be readily available and be brought closer to the people.
The Department of Agrarian Reform Region X joins the nationwide “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” celebration at the Capitol Grounds, distributing 156 certificates of condonation with release of mortgage worth ₱227,559.13 to 136 agrarian reform beneficiaries.
DAR Assistant Secretary Rene E. Colocar, together with regional provincial DAR officers, Misamis Oriental Gov. Juliette T. Uy, and DENR Usec. Ignatius Loyola A. Rodriguez led the distribution while DAR Misamis Oriental provincial office provided free legal aid through its Agraryo Abogado Todo Serbisyo, while partner agencies and local governments provide additional services in honor of President Marcos Jr.’s birthday, Sept. 13.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) brings the “Handog ng Pangulo: Diskwento Caravan” to the Misamis Oriental Provincial Capitol Grounds on Sept. 13, offering affordable grocery items, canned goods, school supplies and more to local consumers.
Alongside discounted products, DTI also provides on-site services, including business name and barangay micro business enterprise registration, to support aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners seeking tax incentives and government assistance. PIA
