MISAMIS Occidental Gov. Henry Oaminal is the new chair of the Regional Development Council of Northern Mindanao (RDC 10) for the 2025–2028 term.
RDC 10 is the highest policy-making body in Northern Mindanao, Philippines.
Its primary function is to coordinate and set the development priorities for the region, working through various committees and often in partnership with DepDev Region 10.
RDC 10 is responsible for planning and directing the economic and social development of Northern Mindanao.
It approves the regional development plan and endorses the budgets of regional government agencies.
It is a body with representatives from government agencies, local government units and the private sector.
“We are confident that your steadfast leadership and commitment to inclusive and sustainable development will guide RDC-X in advancing our shared goals and bringing the region to greater heights. We look forward to the progress and unity your vision will bring toward a stronger and more prosperous Northern Mindanao,” DepDev 10 stated in a social media release.
Oaminal replaces DepDev 10 director Mylah Faye Carino who has been serving as RDC 10 chair in an interim capacity since June.
